Habitat reports dozens of repairs completed under CRA rehabilitation program

Representatives from East Polk Habitat for Humanity told the board that Phase I of the CRA-funded Residential Rehabilitation Program has replaced 116 windows, 10 exterior doors, 3 sliding glass doors, and 3 roofs, and that soffit and fascia repairs were completed. Habitat representatives said Phase I is expected to conclude near the end of August and that Phase II will begin afterward.
CRA staff and board members thanked Habitat, contractors, volunteers and staff for their partnership; staff also noted Habitat provided additional improvements outside the CRA-funded scope and waived its contractual administrative fee. The progress report did not include individual homeowner names or dollar amounts for the completed work.
