Fort Meade sets August budget workshop dates for FY 2026‑27

The Fort Meade City Commission on July 14 adopted Resolution R2026‑38 to set specific dates for the FY 2026‑27 budget workshops. Vice Mayor Petrina McCutchen moved adoption; Commissioner Candice Lott seconded and the motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
The adopted schedule establishes workshops for August 6, 7, 10 and 11, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., with alternate dates of August 18 through 21, 2026. City staff said the workshops will support department presentations and budget preparation ahead of the millage‑rate hearings that were set as part of the consent agenda.
