The Calipatria Unified School District Board ratified memoranda of understanding (MOUs) to participate in the ASES Consortium for Bill E. Young Jr. Middle School, Fremont Primary, and Grace Smith School, and authorized the district’s ASES renewal with the Imperial County Office of Education (ICOE) for a three-year term. The motion to ratify the MOUs and the renewal passed by roll call vote of 7 ayes.
Board packet materials note that the renewal process includes an update to the district’s ASES plan, which must be submitted to the California Department of Education (CDE) by Jan. 30, 2025. Trustees approved the items as listed in Ref VI J and Ref VI G in the board packet.
