The Calipatria Unified School District Board of Trustees ratified the district’s 2024–2026 tentative agreement with the Calipatria Unified Teachers Association (CUTA) during its Jan. 13 meeting, approving the agreement by a roll call vote of 7 ayes.
The board held the statutorily required public disclosure of the major provisions of the agreement at the meeting; Superintendent Angelita V. Ortiz and staff submitted the tentative agreement and a summary for board review. The public disclosure period drew no public comments. Trustee Michael Fong moved to ratify the agreement and Trustee Frank Perez seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
