Trustees request fall facilities tour and possible CHS cafeteria lighting update

During the Aug. 5 Calipatria Unified School District Board of Trustees meeting, Trustee Patty Dockstader asked the board to schedule a tour of district facilities in the fall so trustees could view campuses and infrastructure firsthand. Trustee Dockstader framed the request as a future agenda item for the board to coordinate.
Trustee Frank Perez asked the board to bring back an item regarding the lights in the Calipatria High School cafeteria and to consider updating them; the minutes state he requested the item be returned to the regular August meeting. The minutes do not record estimates, vendors, budgets or a formal vote on either request, so any follow-up would require placement on a future agenda and potential budget authorization.
