Chairman Jim Larson called a special meeting of the Cascade County Board of County Commissioners on June 30, 2026, where the board approved Resolution 26-27 to increase Fund 2865 for the HEART Grant. Trista Besich, Cascade County Chief Financial Officer, presented the appropriation, which lists an increase in revenues of $80,152 and an increase in expenditures of $18,115 to support behavioral health services in local detention centers.
Captain Kotesky provided operational background for the county’s detention facilities and staff responsibilities during the presentation. Commissioner Eric Hinebauch moved to approve Resolution 26-27 “Budget Appropriation within fund #2865, Department 314 as indicated in Attachment A.” The motion carried unanimously, 3-0. The county recorded the resolution reference R0484861.
