The Kingsbury County Board of County Commissioners reorganized for 2026 on Jan. 6, unanimously electing Commissioner Kyle Lee as chairman and Commissioner Corey Lundquist as vice chairman.
Echo Steffensen, County Auditor, opened the meeting and called for nominations. "Motion by Spilde, second by Lundquist to nominate Kyle Lee as Chairman of the Board," the record shows; subsequent motions ceased nominations and the Board cast a unanimous vote in favor. A similar motion elected Lundquist as vice chairman. The Board then voted to keep the 2025 committee and liaison appointments unchanged for the coming year, listing individual assignments for contracts, health insurance, emergency management, planning and other duties.
