Council voted to appoint Sheralyn Howcroft, Teri Maneh, Suzanne Seegmiller and Amy Wadley to the Historic Preservation Commission. Sheralyn Howcroft introduced herself to the council and said she serves as the Archives Subcommittee Chair for the Commission and has 25 years of professional archives experience, including work at the Church History Library and as Project Archivist for the Joseph Smith Papers.
Council Member Dianna Andersen moved to approve the appointments and Council Member Cyd LeMone seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The newly appointed commissioners will join the Historic Preservation Commission and participate in its archives and preservation work.
