At its Feb. 11 meeting, the Board approved the 2024–25 LCAP Mid-Year Monitoring Report and ratified Title I, Part A School-Level Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School Parent Compact for 2025–26. Trustee Patty Dockstader moved to approve the Title I documents and Trustee Saiza seconded; the motion passed 7–0.
The Board also approved School Plans for Student Achievement for Grace Smith and Fremont Primary and accepted for first reading a package of revised board policies and administrative regulations covering topics including LCAP, visitors, budget, independent study and education for English learners. The certified CalPADS Fall 1 (2024–25) report was reviewed and tabled for later action.
Dr. Liliann Patterson reported that an LCAP meeting and implementation activities have been held; the mid-year approval keeps the district aligned with state planning and reporting requirements.
