Chief Business Official Rosa Medina presented the Second Interim Financial Report and recommended Board approval before the March 15, 2025 deadline. Medina told trustees that the district certified P-1 ADA at 93 percent, reserves remain healthy, and cash flow is positive even though the district continues to deficit spend in its general fund.
Trustee Frank Perez moved to approve the Second Interim Financial Report and Trustee Diego Navarro seconded; the motion passed by roll call vote 6 ayes and 1 absent (Trustee Michael Fong). The full report is available for public inspection at the Superintendent's Office and posted with the meeting materials on the district website.
The Board did not adopt new budget cuts or staffing reductions at the meeting; Medina flagged the March 15 submission deadline to county offices of education.
