Calipatria board adopts multiple policy and admin regulation updates including Title IX procedures

Board accepted and adopted a bundle of revised policies and administrative regulations covering nondiscrimination, Title IX complaint procedures, technology use, suspension/expulsion rules and math placement policies as posted in the board packet.
At the Nov. 12 meeting the board accepted for first reading and adopted a set of revised board policies and administrative regulations. The packet covered nondiscrimination in district programs and employment, uniform complaint procedures, Title IX sex discrimination and sex‑based harassment complaint procedures (policies and exhibits), the school accountability report card policy, facilities inspection exhibits, technology use policies for employees and students, suspension and expulsion regulations and math placement policies.
Trustees voted unanimously to accept the documents listed in Ref. VL (1-11) and the September/July policy list included in the packet. The adopted changes were recorded in the board packet and are available for public review in the Superintendent's Office and on the district webpage noted in the meeting materials.
