The board approved the district’s 2023–24 unaudited actual expenditure report and adopted a resolution setting the Gann Limit for the 2023–24 fiscal year and a projected limit for 2024–25. The board packet included background on Proposition 4 (the Gann Limit) and the motions passed by roll call at the Sept. 9 meeting.
Per Board Policy 3430, the Imperial County Treasurer Portfolio Management reports for June and July 2024 were submitted to the board and received as information. Trustees also approved routine financial items on the consent agenda including July cash flow, revolving cash, developer fees and Calipatria High School ASB funds, and ratified the 2024–25 school district calendar (last day June 4, 2025).
A municipal advisory services contract with CFW Advisory Services, LLC was approved; the minutes record a recorded 'No' vote by Trustee Michael Fong on that contract. Budget documents and the unaudited actuals are available on the district website and in the Superintendent’s Office for public review.
