River Ridge CDD accepts Supervisor James Gilman’s resignation and begins appointment process for Seat 1

At its Aug. 27 meeting, the River Ridge Community Development District Board accepted the resignation of Mr. James Gilman from Seat 1 (term expires November 2026).
Mrs. Cleo Adams presented Mr. Gilman’s resignation letter, and on motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly, the Board voted to accept the resignation. The Board discussed appointment procedures for a replacement (an appointment, not an election) and directed staff to notify The Meadows and solicit candidate resumes and letters of interest prior to the next meeting; the appointment process will include statutory onboarding items (oath of office and required ethics and disclosure filings).
