The Village of Beecher Board of Trustees approved the Treasurer's report and a list of bills totaling $638,206.20 and payrolls at its Jan. 13, 2025 meeting. The motion to approve the bills passed on a 6-0 vote.
President Meyer appointed Gus Athanasopoulos to the village's 4th of July Commission; Trustee Kraus moved to approve the appointment and Trustee Weissbohn seconded. The board voted 6-0 to confirm the appointment. Treasurer Donna Lippelt presented the Treasurer's report earlier in the meeting, and the Clerk provided December 2024 tax income figures and the Certification of Ballot for the April 1, 2025 election.
The 4th of July Commission reported it generated approximately $52,000 in 2024 and plans to reinvest those proceeds into Firemen's Park. The board approved the minutes of the Dec. 9, 2024 meeting earlier in the session (6-0).
