Human Resources consultants Jessica Bingham and Natalie Remund briefed the Board about the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) audit required because the county requests FBI background checks for new hires. The Board designated Remund to fulfill assigned roles in the process and agreed Human Resources would handle related matters. New HR policies will be brought back for consideration at the March 17, 2026 meeting.
Bingham presented a User Agreement for SD-CJIS Systems access for non-criminal justice agencies and the Board authorized Chairman Kyle Lee to sign the agreement. The Board then moved into executive session for personnel at 11:47 a.m. and reconvened at 11:57 a.m.; no personnel actions were detailed in the public record and the meeting was adjourned to March 17, 2026.
