Kingsbury County accepts multiple highway material bids; selects vendors for fuel, asphalt, gravel and road oil

The Board also accepted asphalt mix bids from several firms and authorized using vendors based on availability and job requirements.
Rechnagel Construction was recommended for gravel crushing at $2.35 per ton (3/4-inch) and Jebro's road oil bids (MC70 $703.74/ton; MC3000 $892.30/ton; CSS1H $693.74/ton) were accepted. The Board accepted Spencer Quarries' quartzite at $16.00 per ton. Motions to accept these bids were made and approved by the commissioners with unanimous votes.
