In Old Business, Trustee Kraus proposed completing the soccer fields at Welton Stedt Park (adjacent to the junior high school) and purchasing goals at an estimated cost not to exceed $4,000. Kraus said reserve cash could be used to pay for the purchase and noted the work had been discussed previously but not implemented.
The Board did not take a formal vote on the proposal because the matter was not on the agenda for action. No objections were voiced during the discussion, and Trustee Kraus indicated the plan could proceed to later formal consideration and budgeting.
