The Village of Beecher on Feb. 24 approved three separate contracts to outfit and prepare the parking area for the new Public Safety Facility. Trustee Diachenko moved and trustees seconded each proposal: Definitive Resources to install audio-visual equipment in the facility’s community room for $8,948.25; MGM Excavating for excavation of black dirt at the parking lot for $5,675; and Matthew Paving for stone and asphalt installation for $12,550. Each motion passed 6-0.
Minutes record the dollar amounts, vendors, and unanimous approvals but provide no further technical specifications or funding line items. The contracts were presented by the Public Buildings and Properties, Parks and Recreation Committee and are intended to complete site work and interior outfitting ahead of facility opening.
