The Cameron Park board opened and closed a public hearing on an annual statutory calculation to set the district’s appropriation limit and approved Resolution 2026‑13.
Staff described the calculation as a ministerial exercise: the district applies a CPI factor to the current appropriation limit to determine the new statutory ceiling on what the district may collect through assessments and taxes. "Pretty much a ministerial thing," staff said, adding that the district’s proposed appropriations were well under the calculated limit.
There was no public comment on this item and the board approved the resolution on a roll-call vote.
