The Select Board unanimously appointed Johnna White to the Mallett Hall Building and Grounds Committee at the Jan. 27 meeting. Chair Jon Morris praised White's commitment to the Historical Society and Selectperson Kate Day seconded the appointment; the vote was 3–0.
Separately, the board approved a professional services agreement with IOV Community Planning for up to eight hours per week to assist with long‑range land‑use planning and to align the town's ordinances with recent state legislative changes (the contract text references LD337, LD427, LD2003 and LD1829). Selectperson Day noted prior positive experience with the consultant.
