Town seeks engineering study for sand-and-salt shed after residents flag decay; one RFP submitted

The Town Administrator reported an RFP deadline for an engineering study of the sand/salt shed had passed and the town received a single proposal from Gail Associates with a fixed fee of $29,700. The board opened the proposal and referred it to the Road Commissioner for review; the town reserved the right to reject and planned discussion at the next meeting. The meeting also discussed volunteer programs (a 'bucket brigade' to deliver sand to seniors) and the appointment of Nicolas Cote to the Mallett Hall Buildings & Grounds Committee.
