The Select Board reopened discussion of an Ampion Solar buy‑in program first presented two weeks earlier. The Town Administrator said members had requested time to consider the proposal; Selectperson George Pottle described the program as potentially helpful to offset electricity costs but said he felt conflicted and wanted more information. Selectperson Kate Day recommended contacting Brooksville to ask about their experience with the program and suggested the CAP Committee could review the proposal.
Chair Jon Morris said he did not want to jeopardize town finances and supported getting additional review before any decision. The board took no vote to enroll the town at the Jan. 27 meeting.
