Shane Brady of Allen Road addressed the Select Board during the public comment period to press for reconsideration of his petition on impact‑fee reimbursement and to provide supporting documentation. Brady said he used HUD's fair‑market rent tool for Pownal and reported a two‑bedroom fair‑market rent figure of $2,700; he asked the board to review the material and reconsider his request.
Chair Jon Morris told Brady the board would need time to review his materials and said, "we will put this on the next agenda." The Town Administrator, Becky Taylor‑Chase, noted the town's Comprehensive Plan was written in 2021 and approved in February 2022, and cautioned that submitting it for state review might require a Town Meeting authorization depending on the warrant language. Brady also said the plan had not been submitted to the state and asked the board to consider submission.
