The Pownal Select Board voted unanimously to approve two routine finance items at its Jan. 27 meeting. Selectperson Kate Day moved to approve the FY26 accounts payable warrant for $415,783.68, and Selectperson George Pottle seconded; the motion passed 3–0. Day then moved to approve Payroll Journal #291 for $12,842.29; the board again voted 3–0 in favor.
Chair Jon Morris noted the motions were procedural and recorded the votes. The board also approved the minutes of the Jan. 12, 2026 regular meeting on a 3–0 vote. There was no substantive discussion attached to these items during the meeting.
