The extension passed unanimously.
Speakers also raised questions about the planned parking garage, including a provision that approximately 43 percent of spaces would be for the hotel; staff said hotel-held spaces would be charged a market rate (roughly $50 per space monthly was discussed) and indicated it likely would not cover the garage mortgage by itself.
