Sapulpa council approves consent agenda including $1.12M claims and outfitting five police trucks

The motion (moved by Richard Hudson, seconded by Hugo Naifeh) carried 10–0. The consent items approved included claims totaling $1,122,448.85 and prepaid claims of $376,676.59. The council also authorized a renewal of the annual service agreement with Motorola Solutions for the Police Department radio system for $38,446.08 (term July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027) and approved the purchase and full outfitting of five 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 police package trucks from Mark Allen Chevrolet with emergency equipment and graphics, at $70,316.80 per vehicle (total not to exceed $351,584.00), from the FY2026–2027 Police Cash Fund budget.
City staff reported the vehicle purchase and equipment were budgeted in the Police Cash Fund to maintain fleet reliability and patrol response. The council’s roll‑call vote was recorded as 10–0.
