Superintendent (speaker 4) gave a photo slideshow and status update on ongoing renovations at multiple campus sites, saying many classrooms were "95% there" and that the district hopes to turn the building over by Aug. 1 so teachers can begin moving in. He noted a small number of outstanding punch‑list items such as ceiling tiles and a misordered wall treatment for the cafeteria that may be finished after school begins.
On the high‑school side, the superintendent described a new main entrance, relocated administrative spaces, and a new nurse area that will include showers; he cautioned one air‑handling unit was backordered and some office moves are likely to remain in the media center until early October. "It's coming together," he said, and the board scheduled a walk‑through for Aug. 10 to review progress.
