Board approves Service Delivery Strategy agreement to forward to DCA
Summary
Barrow County approved a Service Delivery Strategy agreement (Georgia DCA forms 1, 3, 4 and necessary form 2s) and authorized the chairman to sign subject to county attorney and county manager review; staff said cities are expected to approve as well.
County staff presented a Service Delivery Strategy (SDS) agreement comprising Georgia Department of Community Affairs forms (Form 1, Form 3, Form 4 and necessary Form 2s) and asked the board to authorize the chairman to execute the agreement subject to review by the county attorney and county manager. A commissioner moved approval with that condition and the board voted to pass the motion.
The Chair noted the board has worked on the SDS for a long time and said he anticipates the cities will approve the agreement as well so it can be forwarded to the Department of Community Affairs for final action.
