Salina Board approves consent agenda, records $65,735.57 in new encumbrances

The Salina Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Dec. 9, 2024 regular meeting, including the minutes of the Nov. 11, 2024 meeting and newly listed encumbrances. President Leroy Monk made the motion, which was seconded by Greg Rice and carried by a 5‑0 vote.
Board documents show new encumbrances of General Fund #250–#255 totaling $63,425.57 and Building Fund #49–#50 totaling $2,310.00. The board accepted the administration's report earlier in the meeting covering facilities, curriculum, finances, federal programs and student activities.
The board took no separate action on those encumbrances beyond including them in the consent agenda; no opposing votes or abstentions were recorded. The meeting adjourned at 6:18 p.m.
