County approves $44,320 pickup for tax assessor; to use vehicle replacement fund

A presenter told commissioners the vehicle had been located at the dealership and recommended funding the additional cost from the vehicle replacement fund, since the tax assessor’s office had originally been approved a $30,000 allocation. “These as you probably saw in our comments, they were raised…the tax assessor's office was originally approved to see IP budget of $30,000 and we're recommending to take the additional to purchase this vehicle out of the vehicle replacement fund,” the presenter said. A motion to approve the purchase and necessary budget adjustment passed by voice vote.
The board did not provide a delivery date during the discussion. The county manager and staff will finalize procurement and asset replacement procedures.
