River Ridge terminates Laz’s Lawn and hires GulfScapes amid performance concerns

"On MOTION by Mr. Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Schultz, with all in favor, engaging GulfScapes Landscape Maintenance Services and authorizing Management to terminate the Landscape Contract Management Agreement with Laz’s Lawn Service, Inc., effective immediately, was approved," the minutes state. The Board agreed to offset the higher contract price using unassigned funds and payments withheld from Laz’s Lawn Service.
The motion takes effect immediately and transfers maintenance responsibilities to GulfScapes. Staff will implement the contract termination and transition details, and will report contract execution and any budgetary impacts at a future meeting.
