River Ridge supervisors sworn in and Board officers elected

Cleo Adams, serving as notary, administered the Oath of Office to newly elected supervisors Kurt Blumenthal (Seat 3), Terry Mountford (Seat 4) and Robert Twombly (Seat 5). The action formalized the new membership for the River Ridge Community Development District and established continuity for board business.
At the same meeting the Board considered Resolution 2025‑02 to elect and remove officers. Terry Mountford nominated Bob Schultz for Chair and Mountford for Vice Chair, with Kurt Blumenthal, Robert Twombly and Keith Merrill nominated as Assistant Secretaries. "On MOTION by Mr. Mountford and seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, with all in favor, Resolution 2025‑02 ... was adopted," the minutes state. The Board also reviewed required Florida ethics training, Form 1 filing and Form 8B conflict-disclosure procedures and added the FY2024–25 ethics deadline to the Key Activity Dates list.
The Board’s organizational actions set officer roles for the coming year and reaffirmed reporting and disclosure requirements under state law. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
