At its April 27 meeting the Fairfield Selectboard approved routine items including the minutes and the warrants. Ron Bocash moved to approve the minutes and Damian Branon seconded; the motion passed with all in favor. David Persons moved to approve the warrants; Ron Bocash seconded and the board approved them unanimously.
The board signed overweight permits and noted a vacant seat on the Northwest Solid Waste board; secretary Melissa Manson said she would post the vacancy on the town Facebook page. A Zoom participant identified only as "Michael" did not respond to requests to provide a first and last name and was removed from the meeting. The board held two executive sessions: one earlier in the meeting for a personnel matter (with Molly Mashtare present) and a later session for a legal discussion on an Animal Control issue (with the Health Officer and Town Clerk present); minutes state both sessions resulted in discussion only with no public actions recorded. The meeting adjourned on a motion by Ron Bocash seconded by David Persons.
