Salina Board hires principals, directors and coaches for 2025–26 and accepts two resignations
Summary

After adjourning to executive session under Okla. Stat. Title 25, § 307(B)(1) to discuss personnel, the Salina Board returned to open session and approved a slate of hires for the 2025–26 school year. The minutes show the board hired Blake Crawford as high school principal (includes Concession Supervisor and Assistant Athletic Director); Dr. Cathy Harmon as middle school principal (includes Alternative Education and In‑School Suspension administrator); and Tyler Thompson as elementary principal (includes After School and Summer School director).
The board also hired Keri Mills as special services director (includes 504 Coordinator); Terry Newton as technology director on a 12‑month contract; Crystal Pritchett and Matthew Breedlove as 12‑month agriculture teachers; Jamie Armstrong as a certified assistant coach (teaching field to be determined); and Scott Harmon as Athletic Director (extra duty). The board accepted resignations from Remington Breeden (custodian) and Mary Pope (high school English teacher). Each hire and the resignations were approved with four Yes votes recorded and one absence.
