County selects Coca-Cola bottling company for Parks & Rec vending contract

The Barrow County Board approved RFP 202507 awarding food and beverage vending machine services for Parks and Recreation to Coca-Cola Bottling Company United East LLC. The contract covers placement and service of five vending machines at designated sites in Victor Lord Park, including beverage and snack machines at the gym, upper tennis courts and Field 5.
Parks staff explained the locations and said the vendor selection followed the procurement process in the RFP. Commissioners approved the agreement and authorized the chairman to execute the contract.
The contract will be administered by the Parks & Recreation Department and further operational details such as machine placement and maintenance schedules will be coordinated between department staff and the vendor.
