Joe reported that a petition (Article 23) was received asking the town to repave about 1.8 miles of Scotch Hill Road and requesting $525,000 to fund the work. "There was a petition that came in, to fund the repaving of 1.8 miles of Scotch Hill Road, and that request is for $525,000," Joe said.
The board did not take a separate vote on the petition at this meeting; the petition was added to the warning for voter consideration. The item will need engineering and budget follow-up if voters approve funding in a future meeting and appropriations process.
