The Fair Haven Select Board moved through a series of license applications and approved each by voice vote. Motions were made to approve tobacco and liquor licenses (and related endorsements or outside-consumption permits) for the following businesses: RL Valley Incorporated; Stewart's Shops Corporation; DG Retail LLC (Dollar General); Yeremez Family Enterprise Limited; Brockton Corporation (Shaw's); and American Legion Post 49.
A committee member introduced each motion and the board voted without recorded opposition. The approvals were routine and carried after short discussion.
"I'll make a motion to approve a tobacco license, tobacco substitute endorsement, and a 2nd class liquor license for RL Valley Incorporated," a committee member said; similar motions followed for the other applicants. Each motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
