Chad Vijay elected chair as Fair Haven Select Board completes reorganization

Chad Vijay was elected chair of the Fair Haven Select Board on March 3 during the board's annual reorganization meeting. A committee member moved to nominate Vijay, a second was called and the board voted to elect him.
The board also appointed Sam Lucci as board clerk and set its regular meeting schedule to every other Tuesday at 7 p.m. A motion to adopt the board rules as written passed without changes. The board carried a motion to keep Lakeside News and Rutland Sun as the town's designated papers of record for legal notices.
"I'll move to nominate Chad Vijay as our board chair," a committee member said during the nominations. After the vote the chairing member congratulated Vijay and the board proceeded to the next reorganization items. All procedural actions reported were passed by voice vote with no recorded dissents.
