Cathy Ainsworth reported two 26-week certificates of deposit maturing at 3.5% (down from 3.75%); she requested direction and the Selectboard voted to renew at 3.5% for the same terms, with the next renewal date noted as November 25. Selectboard member David Persons asked Cathy to bring the budget status report to the next meeting and urged the road crew to stock up on gravel; he also requested bids for winter sand and for annual fuel (including DEF and heating fuel usage for locations served by Blouin).
Brian Dubie noted the Town Office generator is aging after reviewing the maintenance report; the board asked Cathy to obtain a quote from Milton Cat to replace the leaking radiator and to present that estimate at the next meeting to inform a repair-versus-replace decision. The Local Emergency Management Plan adoption was tabled pending Tim Corey’s review, and Cathy continues formatting Section Four of the Hazard Mitigation Plan for future review.
