The Town of Eden Selectboard convened a special meeting at 5:03 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2024, to run a lottery that determined the order in which applicants would choose beach campsites at the Lake Eden Recreation Area. Leslie White drew bingo balls matching the number of envelopes received; each participant used the resulting order to pick a campsite.
Minutes record that all participants selected a site and "were happy with their choice." The minutes list the order and selections (for example, Eva and Tony Marchessault selected site 9; Craig Rounds selected site 5; Scott and Donna Coan are recorded with site 14). Chair Ricky Morin asked whether there were any concerns or requests regarding Lake Eden Rec Area for next year; none were raised. The meeting lasted roughly 12 minutes and adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
