The Eden Selectboard voted to reject all bids for the planned addition to the clerk's office after members concluded the bids exceeded the remaining ARPA funds available for the project. Clayton Whittemore moved to exercise the board's right to reject all bids; Ricky Morin seconded and the motion was approved.
Because the board cannot meet the Dec. 31, 2024 ARPA requirement for a signed construction contract, members also approved and signed a resolution that documents using remaining ARPA funds to reimburse the town for Blue Cross and Blue Shield health-insurance expenses totaling $228,115.23 for the period 2/1/22 through 9/9/24. Ricky Morin moved to sign the resolution; Tim Bullard seconded and all agreed.
