Mark Gorelic briefed the board about a Greene County Animal Alliance fundraiser organized with Angela Mia Photography to benefit the GCAA Shelter Fund, scheduled for July 20, 2025 from 2–7 p.m. at Angelo Canna Town Park; he asked the board to note the date and any necessary park logistics. "The Greene County Animal Alliance and Angela Mia Photography are hosting a fundraiser to benefit the GCAA Shelter Fund on July 20th, 2025 from 2-7pm in the Angelo Canna Town Park," Gorelic said during the New Business section.
Board members also discussed a potential New York grant for recreational infrastructure for children and seniors and asked the town grant writer to confirm which costs the grant would not cover and to consult the county before applying. The board noted an inquiry from a cell-phone company about leasing land on Ira Vail; a staff member, Tal, said he would review the packet and bring the item back for a future meeting. Park staff reported a vendor quote for five security cameras to address rising vandalism and asked the board to consider county-assisted Wi‑Fi exploration with Mid‑Hudson Cable.
