Board members confirmed the draft had been returned with state comments and that the town completed required re-notifications before final adoption.
The resolution cites federal statutes including the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act and the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968. Select board members said the adoption demonstrates a commitment to the mitigation actions in the plan; the manager noted some content related to the town may require later revisions but that subsequent updates will follow a separate adoption process. The board's vote was recorded by voice as "aye."
