MRVPD wastewater project: borings and grant work underway, Fayston liaison reports

Paul Quinlan, the commission’s MRVPD liaison, updated the Planning Commission on the Mad River Valley Planning District’s wastewater project. Quinlan also reported that MRVPD discussed cuts at the UVM Medical Center and reviewed related topics such as transportation, recreation and flood/climate resilience with Friends of the Mad River. The commission treated the report as informational; no vote or action was taken at this meeting.
Commissioners noted the wastewater project’s ongoing financial work and planned to monitor MRVPD reports at future meetings.
