The Tannehill Public School Board on Aug. 20 approved routine financial reports and an internal transfer for the activity fund. Board members voted to accept the General Fund balance of $486,880.83 as of July 31, 2024, with purchase orders #67–83 and warrants #1–42 totaling $114,637.10.
The board also approved Building Fund and Sinking Fund reconciliations: the Building Fund balance was recorded at $163,762.00 with PO #25–30 and warrants #1–14 totaling $12,182.93, and the Sinking Fund balance was $69,598.09 with no POs or warrants issued. In the Activity Fund, the board approved a balance of $16,040.59 and authorized a $1,000 transfer from subaccount #984 (yearbook) to subaccount #995 (miscellaneous supplies). Each motion passed unanimously, 3–0 (Cuenod, Freeburg, Perry).
The approvals were made on motions by Board President Dave Cuenod with seconds from other board members as recorded in the minutes. No additional fiscal policy changes or contingency authorizations were recorded in the meeting minutes.
