Town Clerk Demetrius Bolduc reported to the Selectboard that a recent NEMRC seminar introduced a tax-billing feature that displays credits for residents who pay ahead, removing a previously manual process. He said the office has joined the Vermont Municipal Clerks/Treasurers Association and is now approved to sell hunting and fishing licenses.
Bolduc told the board the office is looking into selling DMV transactions in-person as well, noting many residents have difficulty using online services. Secretary Melissa Manson thanked Bolduc for stepping up to cover additional duties during a staff member's maternity leave, a temporary staffing arrangement the board acknowledged without further action.
