Board approves overnight FFA trips to Billings (Oct. 13–16) and Nevada (Nov. 3–6)

The Liberty School District board voted unanimously to approve two overnight FFA trips. On Sept. 23 Chad Denny moved to approve student travel to the NILE competition in Billings, Mont., from Oct. 13–16; Stephanie Stout seconded and the motion passed without opposition. The board separately approved an overnight trip to the FFA National Range competition in Nevada, Nov. 3–6, on a motion by Denny and second by Stout that also passed unanimously.
Both approvals were recorded as action items on the meeting agenda. The board did not place additional conditions on the travel in the meeting minutes; standard trip logistics and chaperone arrangements will be handled by FFA advisors and district staff.
