Liberty School District reports enrollment above budget; superintendent says "we're in great shape"

Superintendent Jerrad Jeske told the Liberty School District board on Sept. 23 that the district budgeted for 560 students and current enrollment stands at 569.98, nearly identical to last year’s 569.17. Jeske said the enrollment figures support short-term budgeting and operational planning and told the board, "Overall, we’re in great shape!" The figures were provided as part of the superintendent’s regular report during the board’s meeting at the EJH Library. The board did not take formal action on enrollment but will consider these counts as it finalizes budgets and staffing for the coming year.
