Commission members noted the DRB/DRP model can streamline permitting by combining review steps; one member said communities that have adopted the system reported time savings, but commissioners also acknowledged the town’s smaller scale may limit gains. The commission asked staff to coordinate with BCRC contact Kelly Ashburn and to prepare summary materials before the December meeting.
