Visitor criticizes earlier executive session; board records 'no action taken'

The visitor said: "Last meeting, you guys went into an executive session ... it was done before we were allowed to come back in." The board acknowledged the concern and recorded on the minutes that "No action taken."
Chair acknowledged the oversight and said the board would try to be more careful going forward. Multiple board members and a resident exchanged views on whether a vote was taken and how the post–executive session handling should be recorded. One resident said the board had been dictating a letter while the door was open and that members who were outside had been unaware of what was happening.
The exchange concluded with the Chair stating on the record that the board had said at the time there was no action taken when they came out of the session. The board did not reverse any prior action during this discussion and no further formal action was recorded at the meeting.
